It was a beautiful afternoon for an engagement session at the beach. Of course we had it all timed out to arrive an hour and a half before sunset so we would have beautiful golden hour photos with the couple. Michelle + Matt may or may not have made a wrong turn off the bridge while venturing on to the island  and they may or may not have gone to the opposite end of LBI. That being said my lovely peeps managed to still arrive on the OG location in ample time to kill an engagement session. What they DIDN’T know, is that in that time I waited and after a long hydrating drive from Mt. Holly, I MAY OR. MAY NOT (may!) of had to pee like a racehorse. I did what any country grown gal would do and I dropped em’ in the middle of some weird cacti and did my biz. Anyways, thats a hell of a way to start off a shoot. 

I love when my girls show up with flowy dresses that catch wind and show off in silhouettes on top of the dunes. It adds to the etherealness of the location and really helps take us out of NJ and into some kind of fantastical locale in Arabia. (At least this is what I tell myself) We romped through the sand and waded through the waters, we even hit up the lighthouse and managed to squeeze in a dusk sunset shot with 5 minutes to spare of the park closing! 

I don’t know when I will see you guys again…..but I know it will be great. These guys have cancelled their wedding three times since the Pandemic and are crossing our fingers that 2021 will be the comeback year of the century! Your engagement session didn't quite start on time and that worked out great, so we are positive this is going to be an awesome event when it happens, and SO worth the wait. See you then!
