We were really REALLY excited about this engagement shoot. Not only was it on my old stomping grounds but this beautiful couple had planned to change it up a little and wear something that would compliment the scenery. It was an eerie day with some sunshine that popped through here and there at all the right moments. I love being challenged to work with whatever available light there is especially when it is in such a beautiful setting. We were blessed with clouds AND sun. Just the most perfect set of circumstances to work within. There is nothing quite like a place that reeks of history and mystery. Every where we turned there was another beautiful vignette to work with and this couple did not disappoint. They fit together like gloves and fought not a THING that we asked of them. And for that they were rewarded with absolutely stunning images from start to finish. I loved everything about this shoot and I am reeling with excitement for this couple to get married this year. I can only imagine what their wedding day will look like considering how absolutely gorgeous their engagement was! You SLADE the shoot! We can't wait to celebrate with you in October at Crossed Keys Estate - it's going to be magical.
